** Although the majority of riders leave at 7:30am during the summer, some riders leave at 7:00am to beat the heat.

Q1. How does one become a member of PCC?
A1. Joining PCC is easy and we welcome riders of all levels. New and renewal membership registration and dues are handled by Active.com. Click the JOIN PCC button above. The membership dues year runs from January 1 to December 31.

Q2. Can anyone ride with the club? Do I have to be a member?
A2. Anyone can ride with us. We only ask that you first read the Safety and Ride With Us web pages if you are not familiar with group and paceline riding.

Q3. Where do the Saturday and Sunday PCC rides start?
A3. Weekly rides start in the shopping center parking lot about 700 feet west of CR90/Silverlake Pkwy on the south side of FM518/Broadway. If you have GPS, the coordinates are W 29.55736, N 095.36533. We meet in the parking lot very close to the green arrow on this Map.

Q4. What are the paces and distances ridden in the Saturday and Sunday rides?
A4. Subject to the riders that arrive at the ride start location, we usually divide into 3 groups
   1. Group 1 - 60+ miles, 20+ mph recommended only for riders with a lot of experience drafting in a pack and with very high level of cardiovascular endurance.
   2. Group 2 - 40-50 miles, 17-20 mph recommended for riders with some experience drafting in a pack and with an above average level of cardiovascular endurance.
   3. Group 3 - 35-45 miles, 15-19 mph recommended for riders with some experience drafting in a pack and with a moderate level of cardiovascular endurance.
